
Lauren Ruth Mitchell and David Alexander
Keef were united in marriage at 6:00 p.m. on June 30, 2007
at Sugar Land First United Methodist Church. Officiating the
ceremony was Reverand Jeffrey McDowell and scripture reading
was performed by Jennifer Bussell. Musical selections were
provided by Brian Granquist, organist, and Kip Johnson,
soloist. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted
dinner and dancing at Pecan Grove Plantation Country Club in
Richmond. Friday night the groom’s parents hosted the
rehearsal dinner at Adobe CafÈ.
Christine Mitchell attended her sister as
maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shannon Davis and Maria
Liberto, both college roommates of the bride. Michael Brown
served his brother as best man and groomsmen were Joshua
Wolfe and Dor Anis, friends of the groom. Ushers were Jerry
Beasley, Nick Flores, Brian Owens and Chris Shaw, all
friends and aerospace design teammates of the groom. The
ring bearer was Cameron Bogan, cousin of the bride.
Lauren is the daughter of Jean and Jesse
Mitchell of Sugar Land. David is the son of Martha Keef of
Austin and Patsy and Randall Keef of Galveston.
Lauren is a graduate of Kempner High
School in Sugar Land and of Texas A&M University where she
received a degree in Industrial Engineering. She is employed
as a wireless capacity planner at Texas Instruments in
Dallas. David is a graduate of Ball High School in Galveston
and of Texas A&M University where he received a degree in
Aerospace Engineering. He is employed as a liaison engineer
in production of the F-35 aircraft at Lockheed Martin
Aeronautics in Fort Worth.
After a wedding trip to Playa Del Carmen,
Mexico the couple resides in Las Colinas, Tx.
