LeGrand - Stauffer Wedding


Erin Elizabeth LeGrand and Todd William Stauffer were united in marriage on Saturday, January 5, 2008, at six o’clock in the evening at the First United Methodist Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Stan Warfield of Stillwater, and the Rev. Jeremy Sanders of Oklahoma City. The bride and groom served communion as a part of the worship service. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a dinner at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center in Stillwater. Brandon Jackson, acoustical guitarist, provided dinner music. Dance music was by the Paul Daniels band. On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Meditations in Stillwater.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jon LeGrand of Missouri City, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary LeGrand, the late Mr. John (Jack) LeGrand of Houston, Texas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Elkins of Missouri City, Texas.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William (Bill) Stauffer of Lawrence, Kansas, formerly of Ardmore, Oklahoma. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Stauffer of Topeka, Kansas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Allan Dunn of Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Friends of Erin and Todd who served as their attendants were Gabby Curtis, Stillwater; Jen Durick, Stillwater; Kevin Flynn, Stillwater; Ross McCulloh, Norman; Tyler Osteen, Norman, Nick Steichen, Enid; Leslie Stauffer, Lawrence, Kansas; Leigh Swafford, Stillwater. Serving as flower girl was Kyla Davis of Stillwater, and ring bearer was Nash Jackson of Stillwater. Members of the house party were Katy Langley of Dallas and Laura Moore of Missouri City. Ushers were Andy Brownback of Topeka, David Stauffer of Kansas City, Missouri, and Danny Elkins of Sugar Land, Texas. Acolytes were Mark Brownback and Jenna Brownback of Topeka.

Erin is a graduate of Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas, and received her Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma State University. She is employed by the National Pinto Horse Association in Oklahoma City. Todd is a graduate of Plainview High School in Ardmore, OK, and also attended Oklahoma State University. He is employed by Toucan Productions in Oklahoma City, and is owner/operator of Custom Splice.

Following their honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta, the couple now resides in Stillwater.
