Dr. and Mrs. Vern Mills of Sugar Land happily announce the engagement of their daughter, Julia Marie Mills, to Dane Eric Thorwaldson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Thorwaldson, also of Sugar Land. Julie graduated in May 2007 from the University of Texas,
McCombs School of Business with a B.B.A. in marketing. She is a 2003 graduate of Elkins High School in Missouri City. Dane graduated in May 2007 from Vanderbilt University, with a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, awarded by Peabody College. He is a 2003 graduate of Clements High School in Sugar Land.
Julie and Dane are currently working in Nicaragua with the nonprofit organization, Manna Project International. A November wedding is planned. |
