Allen Edward Robinson, 86, of Missouri City, TX, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2012. Born on August 29, 1925 in Yazoo City, MS to Allen Edward Robinson and Norma Gentry Robinson, he spent his early years in Missouri City. He served in the Air Force in World War II, and then graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. After retiring from TRW/Mission Mfg. Co., he dedicated his life to Missouri City and Fort Bend County, serving as Missouri City Councilman, member of the Fort Bend Central Appraisal District Board of Directors, member of the Sienna Plantation MUD 1 and the Fort Bend Economic Development Committee. He was a member of the Stafford/Missouri City Lions Club and Chairman of the Missouri City 100th Birthday Celebration.
Allen is survived by his wife, Florence Robinson; son, Allen Robinson; daughter Amanda Tousignant; daughter Penelope Shelfer and son-in-law Tad Shelfer; granddaughter Noel Tousignant.
In accordance with his request, Allen will be interred in the Morton Cemetery, Richmond, TX, next to his parents, with a private memorial service at graveside for his family.
