Team Industrial Services, Inc., plans to relocate its global headquarters from Alvin to Sugar Land, a move that will bring 100 new jobs and create more than $1.5 million in new capital investments for the city. The company will be located in Granite Towers II on Dairy Ashford Road with a projected move-in date of December 2012.
“The City of Sugar Land is excited that an international company such as Team Industrial Services selected Sugar Land for its corporate relocation,” said Mayor James Thompson. “Team is a good fit for the mix of Fortune 500 firms and other well recognized companies located here.”
Team is a leading industrial services company offering specialized services related to the construction, maintenance and monitoring of pressurized piping and associated systems. It serves customers in the refining, petrochemical, power, pipeline and other heavy industrial industries. The company was founded in 1973 and currently has more than 100 U.S. and international locations with service locations in five continents. In recent years, Team has been named to Forbes Magazine’s 200 Best Small Companies and Fortune Magazine’s 100 Fastest Growing Companies lists.
