It has been about two weeks and I still have not received a full response
all my questions and issues. Have you obtained the information necessary
to see what I have been trying to convey to you? One of my major concerns
I have with the City’s legal department is that they may not be independent
and unbiased when it comes to the problems that the City of Sugar Land
created for the Burney Road MUD and its residents. As you are aware, Allen
Bogard has taken a position that is contrary to the terms of the various
agreements, the City has with the Burney Road MUD. With the City Manager
having the ability to fire the City’s attorney, one can see how the City
attorney’s opinion would not be as independent and unbiased as it should be.
No doubt you plan to honor all your campaign promises and commitments to
your constituents such as understanding ALL the issues important to District
1 and represents it well and my commitment to you – District 1 – is to make
sure your voice is heard. What better way to hear our voices and understand
our issues is to attend the next BRMUD meeting on April 25th. Please let me
know if you plan to attend.
I will be awaiting your response. Thank you.
