Anna Tarka joins Sienna Plantation Aquatics

Sienna Plantation Aquatics, a USA Swimming competitive swim team, has named Anna Tarka as its new Swim School Program Director and 8 & Under Coach.

Tarka, who is the former Head Coach of the Strawberry Seals Swim Team in Mill Valley, CA as well as the Head Coach of Convent of the Sacred Heart High School in San Francisco, CA and Fresno High School in Fresno, CA. Sienna Plantation Aquatics (SPA) which has focused on competitive swimming will be expanding it’s programs to offer an extensive swim school for all ages.

“The expansion of our swim school and 8 & Under programs further strengthens our ability to meet the needs of our members and the community as a whole,” noted William Sprague, Head Swimming Coach of Sienna Plantation Aquatics. “Anna Tarka’s comprehensive understanding of swimming and marketing will greatly benefit Sienna Plantation Aquatics and our members.”

Before joining Sienna Plantation Aquatics, Ms. Tarka oversaw the 10 and under, along with the High School programs. Anna is extremely dedicated and motivated to help swimmers improve their strokes and develop their potential.

Anna recently graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Master’s degree in Sports Administration, and will be ASCA level 2 certified by summer 2011.
