Make your plans to attend the Sugar Land Skeeters game on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 when half the proceeds from all field box seats purchased at least one day before the game will benefit the Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center: A Very Special Project of the Children’s Museum of Houston.
Fans can purchase their field box seats online at https://www.ticketreturn.com/prod2/Buy.asp?EventID=84532&promocode=discovery. Only proceeds from field box tickets purchased online at least one day before the August 27 game will benefit the museum.
Plus, field box tickets for this game at Constellation Field are available for just $10.83, the group discount rate for weekday tickets.
The museum must raise $1.65 million by the end of 2013 in order to move forward with the project, according to Tracy Golden, capital campaign manager for the Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center.
“We’ve made great progress, but we still have a way to go,” she says.
The museum is scheduled to open in a 10,000-square-foot building in the new Imperial development in Sugar Land in the summer of 2015. Six primary exhibits, managed as platforms for learning for children birth through 12 years, will focus on basic childhood questions such as “How Does It Work?” and “Where Does It Come From?”
Those interested in contributing to the Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center should contact Tracy Golden at 281-494-0297 or at email@example.com.
Top-level naming opportunities start at $25,000 with several prominent spaces remaining including the museum’s meeting rooms at $100,000, the TotSpot exhibit for $250,000 and the Kidtropolis exhibit for $400,000.
