The Pregnancy Resource Medical Center of Fort Bend County will hold its annual Baby Bottle Boomerang campaign from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day this year.
The Pregnancy Resource Medical Center of Fort Bend County (PRMC) is a nonprofit organization located in Rosenberg. It is a faith-based organization with staff and volunteers that come from various denominations and backgrounds.
The PRMC offers several services to women who find themselves in unplanned or unexpected pregnancies. All services are confidential, without judgment, and free of charge. They are available to any woman regardless of personal circumstance, age, national origin, income, marital status, or religious affiliation.
The Baby Bottle Boomerang campaign is one the organization’s largest fundraisers. It is an opportunity for churches, businesses, schools and other groups to come together to support the mission and ministry of the Pregnancy Resource Medical Center. Through a Baby Bottle Boomerang campaign, volunteers hand out baby bottles for households to take home. Bottles can be filled with loose change, bills, or a check made out to PRMC.
In 2018, 34 churches throughout Fort Bend County participated and PRMC received over $80,000. The goal for 2019 is to have at least 40 churches/groups participate and to raise at least $90,000. Partnering with PRMC increases their ability to provide opportunities to women in a compassionate, loving environment when facing an unexpected pregnancy. I
