Gremillion Enterprises opens office in Beasley

The city of Beasley has gained its first new business for 2010. Gremillion Enterprises officially opened its doors at 203 South 7th Street in Beasley in February. Gremillion Enterprises, a general construction company that specializes in residential remodeling, recently held an open house sponsored by Gremillion Enterprises, Cornertstone Mortgage and Fort Bend Farm Bureau Insurance.

“We do general remodeling work, including wood and tile flooring, granite, custom cabinetry, painting, remodeling kitchens and bathrooms and much more”, said Keith Gremillion, who has over 9 years of remodeling experience. “In addition, folks can take a look at his work when they visit the office. The Gremillions, Keith and Kandice, acquired and relocated the original Home Lumber building built in 1931 in Rosenberg, to Beasley last year. They proceeded to bring it back to its historic date by installing oak hardwood floors, repainting the interior and refurbishing the siding, among numerous other details.

Both Gremillions are native Houstonians. Kandice, a realtor with RE/MAX Opportunities, has a strong heritage connection to Fort Bend County through her great grandfather, M. L. Woolley, who served as sheriff in the early 1900’s, when he lived in the Richmond jail with his family for nearly 28 years. In the Beasley area, Hamlink Road was named after her great uncle Glen Hamlink’s family. Her great. great grandparents are also buried in the Needville Cemetery.

Kandice Gremillion heads up the real estate investment arm of the company, and works with her father, a Houston developer, when a client needs more expertise in development of a parcel of raw, undeveloped land.

Office hours for Gremillion Enterprises are 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Additional information can be obtained at www.gre-million.com or by calling 979-387-2000.
