Bush High School’s Cameron Ridley, Broncos senior center, was selected to play in the 35th Annual McDonald’s All American Boys Games. He was among only 19 high school basketball players from Texas nominated for the team. (Nominees also included Hightower High School’s Danuel House.)
This season, Ridley scored an average 21.9 points per game – with 15 rebounds, 4.8 blocks, 1.2 assists and 1.1 steals. The Broncos, led by Head Coach Ronnie Courtney, finished the season with a record of 25-5.
“For 35 years, the McDonald’s All American Games have showcased the best and the brightest high school stars nationwide and in 2012 the beat goes on,” said Douglas Freeland, Director of the McDonald’s All American Games. “On March 28, fans had the chance to witness these elite players and get the first look at the world’s future basketball stars.”
Ridley played center position for the West Team during the McDonald’s All American game.
