Fireworks lit up the sky Monday night for Sugar Land’s Independence Day celebration at Constellation Field. The Skeeters were unfriendly hosts to the New Britain Bees, beating them 2-1 in a seven-inning game before the pyrotechnic show. The team set an attendance record with 8,606 fans at the ballpark for the game and fireworks display.
