The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Howe of Missouri City, Texas.  She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kilian Bodensteiner of West Union, Iowa and the late Mr. and Mrs. Otto Howe of Guy, Texas.  The groom is the son of Mr. Daniel Haugen and the late Mrs. Cathy Haugen of Dana Point, California.  He is the grandson of Mrs. Charlene Stromstad and the late Mr. Walter Stromstad of Beltrami, Minnesota and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gus Haugen of Fertile, Minnesota.

Escorted by her father and presented in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a couture gown designed by Monique Lhuillier.  The strapless gown of ivory embroidered lace featured a sweetheart neckline with a fitted bodice, which was accented with a silver embroidered embellished belt of crystals.  The modified trumpet skirt was beautifully adorned with silk white Chantilly lace and embroidered tulle that fell into a gently sweeping train.  To complement her gown, the bride wore a custom floral embroidered cathedral length veil designed by Monique Lhuillier and carried a lush, mixed bouquet of seasonal peonies, hydrangeas, and roses in shades of white, ivory, pale pink, and cream, wrapped in antique white satin ribbon.  Wrapped around the ribbon was a rosary which her mother carried on her own wedding day as well as a locket containing a picture of the bride’s late mother-in-law.  The bridesmaids wore Monique Lhuillier dresses in blush and carried unique bouquets of roses, hydrangeas, peonies, and stock all in shades of white.

The bride’s sisters, Miss Cara Howe and Miss Kristie Howe of Houston, Texas, served as the Maids of Honor.  Bridesmaids were Miss Amanda Otte of Palo Alto, California and Miss Abigail Speight of San Francisco, California.  Mr. Alexander Bandza of Berkeley, California served as Best Man.  Groomsmen were Mr. Brett Hammon of Palo Alto, California, Mr. Ryan Jones of San Francisco, California, and Mr. Charlton Gholson of San Francisco, California.  Ushers were Mr. Michael Baer of Stanford, California, Mr. Sureel Sheth of Baltimore, Maryland, Mr. Sean Sandoloski of Washington D.C., Mr. Vaughan Tuohy of San Francisco, California, and Mr. Jonathan Wan of South San Francisco, California.  The House Party and Scripture Readers included Rachel Deming of San Francisco, California and Mrs. Sara Walters, cousin of the groom, of California, Maryland.

Erin is a 2004 graduate of Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas.  She graduated from Stanford University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and was a four-year member of the varsity softball team.  She is currently employed as an associate with Goldman Sachs in San Francisco, California.  Austin is a 2004 graduate of Colorado Academy in Denver, Colorado.  He graduated from Stanford University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.  In 2009 he received a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.  He is currently employed as a product manager at Facebook in Menlo Park, California.

Following their honeymoon to Uruguay and Argentina, the couple resides in San Francisco, California.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Wagner of Sugar Land, Texas and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Wagner of St. Louis, Missouri and the late Mr. Jesse Siegel of New York, New York and the late Mrs. Edith Siegel of Sugar Land, Texas.  The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James McCauley of Houston, Texas and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mac McCauley and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kane.

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a gown by Paloma Blanca which had a silk duchess satin bodice and featured a dropped waist with draping detail.  The skirt was made of flowing, pleated organza and fell to a sweep train. To complement her gown, she wore a cathedral length veil.  She carried a bouquet of hydrangeas, tulips and bells of Ireland with a single carnation representing her sorority flower.  Her bouquet was tied with a Chi Omega handerkerchief and accented by a shamrock, a gift from her late grandmother. Her look was completed by a silver necklace, a gift from the groom ; pearl and crystal earrings, a gift from the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Carl McCaslin; and a silver and crystal bracelet of her mother’s.  The ceremony music was provided by the Divisi Strings and vocalist Ms. Jessica Caldwell, accompanied by Mrs. Jay Gardner.  Readings were given by Ms. Jennifer McCauley, sister of the groom and by Mrs. Carl McCaslin, aunt of the bride.  A special reading was presented by the siblings of the bride and groom.

Mrs. Erin Carrio Smith served as the Matron of Honor.  Bridesmaids were Mrs. Ashley Allison Burton, Ms. Lynsey Daniel, Mrs. Vita Montalbano Dougherty, Mrs. Emily Hermes, Mrs. Kathryn Sawyer Morton, Mrs. Aimee Alley Taylor and Mrs. Nathalie Mulhern Wagner.  Mr. Patrick McCauley was the Best Man.  Groomsmen were Mr. Blake Patrick Arbour, Mr. Jon Aaron Broussard, Mr. Joseph Chappell Collins, Mr. Brendan Daniel Cronin, Mr. Ryan James Doyle, Mr. Quinn Michael Guerin, Mr. Jerry “JJ” Knauff, Mr. Sergio Pena and Mr. Alexander John Wagner.  Ushers were Mr. Christopher McCauley, Mr. Eric Munchausen and Mr. Jonny Havens.  Members of the house party were Emily Carolyn Doyle, Katie Lucille Doyle and Claire Elizabeth Doyle.  The flower girls were Caroline Rose Steranko, Georgia Marie Steranko and Edie Rose Wagner.  The ring bearer was Cormac James Steranko.

Jessica is a 2000 graduate of Clements High School and a 2004 cum laude graduate of The University of Texas at Austin.  She earned her Master’s Degree from Loyola University.  While at The University of Texas she was a member of Chi Omega sorority and an Orange Jacket. She is a first grade teacher at The Fay School.  Ryan is a 2000 graduate of St. Thomas High School and a 2004 graduate of Saint Louis University where he was a member of the rugby team and a member of Phi Kappa Theta fraternity.   He is a commercial banker with Chase Bank.  Following their honeymoon to the Riviera Maya, the couple will reside in Houston, Texas.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Ray of Missouri City are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Laura Elizabeth Ray to Donald Heath Thompson of Austin, Texas, on March 31, 2012.  Laura attended Elkins High School and is a graduate of St. Edwards University in Austin, where she is employed in the Department of International Education.   Heath attended Sam Houston University and is employed by Central Market of Austin.  Laura and Heath exchanged vows on a beautiful spring afternoon at the Emily Ann Theatre and Gardens in the small hill country community of Wimberley, Texas.  A dinner reception followed at the Wimberley Community Center.  After a honeymoon trip to San Francisco, Laura and Heath are residing in Austin.

The couple currently reside in Sugar Land. Will is the owner of Melton Quality Testing and Abby looks forward to soon becoming an elementary education teacher.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morris E.

Cordes of Houston, Texas.  The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Seth Christopher Herndon of Sugar Land, Texas.  Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride chose a white wedding gown and veil from Lazaro.

Laura Fanta, friend of the bride, served as Maid of Honor.  Bridesmaids included Mary Ellen Herndon, Amanda Blomdahl, Anna Flagg, Taylor Nugent, Jennifer McClure, Mayley Tang and Megan Blaisdell.

The House Party included Alicia and Amelia Bush, Vanessa Ferreira, Camille Goodson, Hayley Kosel, and Nicole Peyreau.

Corbin Janssen of Sugar Land, Texas served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Ryan Cordes, Trevor Baugh, Andrew Gilbert, Clark Fredrickson, James Denton, Hayes Thibodeaux and Gideon Powell.  Ushers were John Chay, Maxim Helmerich, Michael Leanes, Matthew Rash, Blake Kramer and William Stence.

The bride and groom both attended Fort Bend Baptist Academy in Sugar Land.  Danielle is a 2011 graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta.  She will be working for The Methodist Hospital in Sugar Land, Texas. Price is a 2011 graduate of Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He will be working for Price Waterhouse in Houston.

Following their honeymoon on Nevis Island in the Caribbean Sea, the couple will make their home in Houston.

Haley is the daughter of Susan and Joel Palfreyman of Missouri City, TX. She is a 2008 graduate of Dulles High School and will graduate this April from Brigham Young University in Utah. She plans to attend law school in the fall.

Daniel is the son of Todd and Dana Jankowski of Herriman, UT. He will graduate from Brigham Young University with Mechanical Engineering in 2013.

Following a honeymoon cruise to the Cayman Islands, the couple resides in Utah.
