Historic Richmond Association is hosting a progressive dinner in Historic downtown Richmond, Friday, December 7, 2012, kicking-off at 6:30 p.m. The event benefits Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels.
“The Secret Garden will host cocktails, and then we’ll walk across the street to Treasure Hunters for appetizers. After appetizers, we’ll go to the Italian Maid for dinner, and dessert and coffee will be served at the Law Office of Rocket Rosen, also on Morton Street,” said Shereen Lary, vice president, Historic Richmond Association and owner of The Secret Garden.
After dessert, attendees with have a night cap of brandy at Richmond’s Post Office, where Lola-Rose Candles’ owner, Norma, will be hosting the closing of the evening.
The evening, according to Lary, will be enjoyable and fun, a great way to meet new people, explore the stores of downtown Richmond, and be one of the first to see holiday treasures at the different stores.
“All of the stores on Morton will be open, and the holiday spirit will be in the air. This is the first progressive dinner we’ve had and so we will be making the evening special for all who attend,” Lary said.
The progressive dinner benefits Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels to help provide meals for the elderly during the holiday, so a portion of tickets are tax-deductible.
Tickets are on sale and are $60 per person, and may be purchased via email, email@example.com or by phone, 832-752-9645.
