The Central Fort Bend Chamber celebrated the grand opening of Hair Salon Maciel’s new location with a ribbon cutting ceremony March 7 and welcomed the owner, Elizabeth Cervantes, to the chamber family.

Hair Salon Maciel is located at 5255 B Reading Road in Rosenberg, in the Reading Road Professional Office Park. More than 60 business owners, elected officials and chamber members delightedly welcomed Cervantes and her nine staff members at the ceremony.

Elizabeth Cervantes has been serving Fort Bend County as a professional business owner and hair dresser for 20 years.

“It has been my passion to change lives, transforming each individual’s natural beauty,” Cervantes said.

She owned two other locations, one on Avenue H in Rosenberg and the second on 11th Street in Richmond, before opening the doors at her newest site.

“After so many years, my dreams have come true. I am very blessed to be around the people who God has brought to me,” she said.

Cervantes has also served the community through MD Anderson’s Look Good, Feel Better organization, and has been a contributing parent representative to Lamar CISD’s English as a Second Language program.

Hair Salon Maciel offers a wide range of services from precision cuts to massages. Cervantes hopes to continue to grow her business and keep close relationships with long-time and new clients.
