Fort Bend County Libraries’ Sienna Branch Library, 8411 Sienna Springs Blvd in Missouri City, presents a variety of free children’s programs — Mother Goose Time, Toddler Time, Story Time, Kinder Korner, and After-School Breaks — every month. These programs are free and open to the public.
Mother Goose Time, which takes place on Tuesdays at 10:00 am, provides caregiver/infant activities and songs especially designed for the youngest book-lovers, from age 1 month to 12 months. Program date is September 25.
Toddler Time — Thursdays at 10:00 — offers caregiver/child activities, stories and songs for older babies, from 12 to 36 months of age. Program dates are: September 20, and 27.
Pre-school children, 3 to 6 years of age, will enjoy Story Time, where they hear stories, watch movies, and participate in age-appropriate craft activities, beginning at 10:00 am each Wednesday. Program dates are: September 19, and 26.
Pajama Night Story Time — which takes place every Monday at 6:30 pm — gives families an evening option for some activities presented during the day time. Program date is September 24.
Kinder Korner — a time for kindergartners to enjoy stories, movies, crafts and other activities – normally takes place on the 2nd Wednesday, beginning at 4:00 pm.
The After-School Break — crafts, movies, stories, and more for school-aged children in grades 1 through 5 ONLY – takes place on the 4th Thursday, beginning at 4:15 pm. The After-School Break on September 27 will be “Falling for Fun.”
The Teen Programs, which begin at 6:30 pm on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays, are designed for youth in grades 6-8.
Tween the Pages — a book club for youth in grades 4 and 5 – takes place on the 2nd Tuesday, beginning at 4:15 pm.
