Colony Meadows opens new pavilion

ColonyMeadowsColony Meadows Elementary celebrated its new pavilion with a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 20.

The event kicked off with a performance by the fifth grade choir. PTO President Heidi Houston thanked the parents, teachers and administration for the support of this structure that the school PTO funded. The project was coordinated by CME’s Volunteer of the Year, Lily Karim.

Past principal Eugene Dupont joined in on the festivities, as did current principal Melissa Bolding, and assistant principal Jackie Boyd.

FBISD Chief Academic Officer Dr. Phillys Hill and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Anthony Indelicato joined the celebration.
