Both agreements will lay the framework for the exchange of education, cultural and economic development information between Fort Bend County and the Turkish cities. Judge Hebert presented a proclamation to the hosts recognizing and commending the Texas Turkish American Chamber of Commerce for ‘working with Fort Bend County to encourage ongoing mutually beneficial cultural, educational and economic exchanges.’
Through the efforts of Fort Bend Global Initiative and the Greater Fort Bend Economic Development Council, Fort Bend County has established a Sister Community Relationship with Foshan, in the People’s Republic of China.
