Fort Bend Volunteers, a new initiative of the Community Resources Division of the Fort Bend Chamber invites you to join in a conversation with County Judge Hebert. We hope you will make a reservation to hear more about the initiative but, most of all, to get the Judge’s perspective on volunteerism.
Khambrel Marshall, KPRC-TV, will interview Judge Hebert at the breakfast and will provide a greater insight on the impact of philanthropy. Please help support the County Judge and this important new community program. The breakfast will be held on Thursday, October 4, at Safari Texas Ranch, 11627 FM 1464 Rd., Richmond, from 7:30 am – 9:30 am.
Fort Bend Volunteer provides a county–wide resource for volunteers and the nonprofit organizations that need them. The vision is to make the opportunity to volunteer an easy one-stop process. Fort Bend Volunteers connects potential volunteers with nonprofit organizations. Volunteers search Fort Bend Volunteers for opportunities in their community. When volunteers see a listing they are interested in, they simply click on it to connect with the organization and get involved.
The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce Community Resources Division under the leadership of Vice Chair Dee Koch continues to present the Youth in Philanthropy and Leadership Excellence for non-profits programs. Details of each of these programs can be found at www.FortBendChamber.com.
