The Craig I Boardman Scholarship Fund has announced the winners of their 2011 Craig I Boardman Scholarships. The mission of the Craig I. Boardman Scholarship Foundation is to provide college funds for motivated, promising students, who have a strong desire to further their education, who have financial need, and who—with appropriate mentoring and financial assistance—have great potential to succeed in the college environment.
The 2011 winners are Griselda Anzaldua, Genevieve Osborn and Melissa Robbins. All three students graduated from Lamar Consolidated High School. “It has been an honor to assist these three talented students. They worked hard to earn their scholarships, and they each exhibit an inspiring will to succeed,” remarked Dr. Katharine Caruso, educational advisor and board member for The CIB Scholarship fund.
