Three family members have been linked to three west side Fort Bend County robberies.
Jerry Suniga, and Pablo Suniga, Jr, have been arrested for their participation in three Richmond/Rosenberg robberies. A third family member is expected to be charged, although he has not been publicly identified, he is in jail on a parole violation charge.
According to Bob Haenel, spokesman for the sheriff, Pablo Suniga, Jr., 21, has been charged with and arrested for aggravated robbery. He has been identified as the man who robbed the Timewise Convenience Store and Shell service station at the corner of FM 762 and U.S. 59, just outside Richmond on December 2, 2011. Haenel said this case and two other Rosenberg convenience store robberies are all connected. Those cases occurred just days before, on December 3 and December 4, 2011.
Rosenberg police have filed aggravated robbery charges against Jerry Suniga, 45, and Pablo Suniga, Jr., his 21 year old nephew, for the robbery at the BEMS convenience store on December 3 and the robbery at Fuel Mart/Valero gas station at the corner of US 59 and FM 2218, on Sunday, December 4, 2011. Jerry Suniga, was arrested by Rosenberg police on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at his home on Randon Dyer Road.
All three men remain in the Fort Bend County jail without bond; each was either on parole or probation at the time of their arrests.
