Rosenberg police responded to a burglary in progress and nabbed the crooks while exercising teamwork. On April 19, about 5:15 ip.m., Rosenberg police Officer Matthew Macias was dispatched to a burglary in progress in the 1200 block of Walger Street.
While he was responding to the Walger Street home, the dispatcher broadcast a description of the suspect vehicle and the direction in which it was traveling.
Other responding officers began to comb the streets. Shortly thereafter, Officer Brandon Mosley spotted a vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s.
A traffic stop was affected. During that stop, three men and property discovered inside the vehicle linked them to the Walger Street location.
Rosenberg police have identified those arrested as Ramiro Reyes, 30, of Houston, who is facing burglary as well as multiple outstanding warrants for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Ruben Reyes, 43, and Jay Montalvo, 41, both of Rosenberg. They were charged with burglary of a habitation.
All three were booked into the county jail.
