Carla Meuth, Chairman of the Professional Affairs Committee of the Lambda Sigma Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International is reminding all graduating senior girls that applications are being accepted until May 3, 2013, for a one thousand dollar grant-in-aid. This grant is given annually to a female senior who is graduating from a Fort Bend Independent School District high school. The main requirement is that the recipient has been accepted to a college and plans to major in education. Those who are already attending college, and working toward an education degree, may apply as well, as long as they were a Ft. Bend ISD graduate.
