Pigtails and piles of dirt. That was the scene recently at Missouri City’s Buffalo Run Park, where a local Girl Scout group helped rebuild a special garden—a habitat garden for butterflies. Girl Scout Brownie Troop 19274 planted flowers and shrubs on Saturday, March 31, to restore the Butterfly Garden left dry from last year’s drought. Girl Scout Brownie Troop 19274 celebrates the completion of its volunteer planting project. Members helped beautify the Butterfly Garden at Buffalo Run Park and received seeds from City Forester Paul Wierzbicki to start their own garden at home.
