Neighborhood Donor Centers will observe special hours Labor Day
With more than 1,000 blood donations needed every day in our region, donors are encouraged to continue their commitment over the holiday weekend and on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 5 – when Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will observe special hours of operation at several Neighborhood Donor Centers. Hospitals in the Texas Gulf Coast region depend on blood donations for traumas, surgeries, premature babies and more.
As many individuals are off work on Sept. 5, The Blood Center is asking those who are able to take less than an hour of their time to donate blood. As an incentive, The Blood Center is offering 300 bonus points to all who donate at a Neighborhood Donor Center Sept. 2 through 5. Points can be redeemed online for items in the Commit for Life store.
