The dry ponds at the Quail Valley Golf Course in Missouri City are a quick reminder of the exceedingly dry conditions this area has experienced. Authorities on the warming climate conditions in Texas are pretty much saying get used to it, because they report that the climate in Texas is changing. As golf courses reportedly thrive in the drought, some of the property values of those with residences abutting them such as Jackson’s, may be adversely impacted.
What a difference this year has made on the value of the houses that used to have water. This house was touted as having one of the best views in QV. It is certainly not the case now.
