Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man and woman who have been caught on camera using stolen credit cards.
A car was burglarized in the parking lot of a Crossfit Gym in northwest Fort Bend County. The victim told responding officers that she had parked her car at the rear of the building, gone in to work for about an hour and returning to her car to find it burglarized. She identified the missing items as cash and credit cards.
According to Sheriff’s spokesman Bob Haenel, “Detectives discovered that the culprits in this case quickly used the victim’s credit cards at an area HEB, two CVS locations and a Wells Fargo ATM. The loss totaled more than $2,500.”
He described the suspect duo as a black male and a black female; he is reportedly about 5’10” and heavy set. At the time of the incident he was wearing a raspberry-colored sweater over a pink shirt. He also was wearing a hat with flaps over the ears said Haenel. The female suspect was about the same height and size with short black hair that appeared to be gray in the surveillance footage. Heanel said she was wearing what appeared to be a gray-colored velour pant suit with a black scarf.
Fort Bend Crime Stoppers is willing to pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of these two car burglars.
