Anna Davila, Educational Technology Specialist at Fort Bend Independent School District, will present EdmodoCon on August 7. The largest online conference about education, EdmodoCon will feature live-streamed presentations from 12 teachers from around the world who will share creative ways they use Edmodo and other digital tools in the classroom.
A resident of Richmond, Tex., Davila has been with Fort Bend ISD for more than 11 years and has been in her current role, focusing on integrating education technology into Fort Bend ISD classrooms, for nearly two years. At EdmodoCon, she will present on building student leadership capacity and improving school culture through the use of Edmodo groups. She will be sharing her experiences with educators tuning in from across the globe.
“I’m excited to share the amazing work Fort Bend teachers have been doing with the inclusion of Edmodo in their classrooms,” said Davila. “We are reaching kids on their terms using a technology they are excited about.”
EdmodoCon brings together educators to share, inspire, and demonstrate ways they are using education technology resources and digital tools in the classroom. More than 22,000 teachers from 152 countries have already registered for EdmodoCon 2013.
