The Fort Bend Teen Service League (FBTSL), a mentoring project of the Fort Bend Junior Service League, is now recruiting new members for the 2012-2013 League year. Informational meetings will be held on April 24, May 3 and August 7 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce.
Teen girls from all over Fort Bend County are gaining valuable leadership skills, volunteering for numerous charitable events and philanthropic organizations and preparing themselves for college and their careers by active membership in the Fort Bend Teen Service League. Membership is open to teen girls in grades 9-12.
Encourage the teen girls in your life to attend this fun, social, informative meeting and find out how being a member of the FBTSL can enhance their high school experience.
The purpose of FBTSL is to foster a sense of community responsibility in young women as well as to develop leadership skills through participation in philanthropy, educational activities and cultural events. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable as well as providing an atmosphere of friendliness, goodwill and camaraderie for all members.
