The City of Sugar Land’s final cultural arts open house is scheduled for March 27, at 7 p.m., at the Imperial Park Recreation Center, 234 Matlage Way.
During the last several months, the City’s cultural plan has been developed through the public participation of Sugar Land residents and stakeholders. At this final open house, residents will be asked to provide feedback on the draft plan’s priorities.
This project will culminate with the Cultural Arts Strategic Plan and Implementation Guide, documents intended to serve as a roadmap for the future. The plan builds on past efforts and recommends future strategies for partnering with local organizations to further integrate cultural arts into the community.
Following the open house, the Cultural Arts Strategic Plan will be finalized and presented to City Council.
Residents unable to attend the public meeting may provide online input through an innovative new tool called Online Town Hall.
