
Back by popular demand, The Friends of the Arts Committee, First United Methodist Church, Missouri City invites back the Lone Star Blue Grass Band to play on Saturday, May 12 at 4 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Missouri City.
Bluegrass, which has hints of blues and jazz, is music inspired by immigrants from the United Kingdom and Ireland who settled in the American Appalachian Mountains. You will enjoy classic bluegrass standards as well as interpretations of contemporary works from Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder and others.
The concert will be held in the sanctuary at First United Methodist Church located at 3900 Lexington Blvd. at the intersection of Lexington Blvd. and Murphy Road.
Bring your family and friends as Friends of the Arts promises you will be clappin’ along when you hear the sounds of the Lone Star Blue Grass Band. The concert is free to the public, although Love offerings will be graciously accepted.
