The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce will host Harris County Infrastructure Update on Thursday, November 29, 2012 with John Blount, PE, LEED AP, Harris County Public Infrastructure Department. The breakfast will be held at Sugar Land Conference Center, 12999 Jess Pirtle Blvd., Sugar Land, from 7:30 – 9:00 AM. Sponsorship provided by Aguirre & Fields, LP.
John Blount is a 1984 graduate of the University of Houston. He has worked in the Civil Engineering Field for twenty-eight years and is a Registered Professional Engineer (WI) (TX) as well as a LEED accredited professional. He has worked at Harris County for the last twenty-five years holding positions as an Inspector, Compliance Manager and Manager of Permits. He currently holds the position as Director of Architecture and Engineering for the Harris County Public Infrastructure Department. He serves on the National Sanitation Foundations’ (NSF) Joint Wastewater Committee and was previously chairman of the Texas Onsite Wastewater Research Council appointed by Governor Perry.
