Fort Bend Family Promise will hold its 8th annual charity golf tournament at Sugar Creek Country Club on Monday, November 19. Registration is $150 per person; the practice range opens at 11:00 a.m. The scramble format-shotgun start for the four-player teams begins at 12:15 p.m.; dinner and awards follow the conclusion of play.
Again this year, golfers will have the opportunity to win a new vehicle valued at more than $40,000. The Hole-In-One, or Car-In-One contest is sponsored by David Taylor.
Sponsorships, ranging from Platinum at $10,000 to Hole Sponsor at $300, are expected to sell out. Individual registration information, as well as sponsor details, are available at: www.fortbendpromise.org; alternately, call Tournament Chair Duane McCullough at 281.639.2100 or e-mail him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Fort Bend Family Promise was recently awarded a challenge grant from the George Ranch Foundation to purchase property to build a much-needed new Family Service Center. “As part of our financial plan, we have set a goal to double the proceeds from last year’s golf outing” said McCullough.
