Fort Bend GOP raises $64,850 at dinner

The Fort Bend County Republican Party had its annual Lincoln Reagan Dinner at the Texas Safari Ranch on Jan. 15.

The keynote speaker was Railroad Commissioner Ryan Sitton.

“Our total donations, after expenses, came to $64,850, the second highest in the party’s history. We had a great crowd at this year’s event with all seats filled and people standing in the lobby” stated Todd Schuh, treasurer of the Fort Bend Republican Party.

“The event was a huge success!” commented Michael Gibson, chairman of the Fort Bend Republican Party. “We continue to attract donors that approve of the direction the party is heading locally and are rewarding us with larger donations.”

The Fort Bend Republican Party holds an annual event honoring two of its heroes, Abe Lincoln and Ronald Reagan. It is one of many annual fundraising events.
