Terry Jude Miller is a published and award winning poet from Fort Bend County. A Juried Poet of the 2011 Houston Poetry Festival, his work has been published in Peace Words, FreeXpression (Australia), the University of Houston’s Bayou Review, Ancient Paths, Orbis, Stepping Stones Magazine, Furnace Review, Shine Journal, Blue Skies Poetry, Survivor’s Review, Live Oak Review, Lamplighter Review, Bijou Poetry Review, Chaffey Review, Foundling Review, Seven Circle Press, Houston Literary Review, Boston Literary Magazine, Edison Literary Review, Hanging Moss Journal, Willow Tree Poems, anthologies of the Poetry Society of Texas and the Gulf Coast Poets, Sol Magazine and other Texas publications.
In January 2010, his poem, “The Diagnosis”, appeared in the Birmingham Arts Journal. He has read his poetry at venues throughout the United States, including the Gallery Cafe Poetry Reading in San Francisco and at other venues in Miami, New York, and Boston.
Miller has just published his third titled “The Butterfly Canonical.” His first book of poetry, “The Day I Killed Superman”, was released in mid-2010 and is available at www.barnesandnoble.com and www.amazon.com. He is a member of the Academy of American Poets, the Poetry Society of Texas, the Gulf Coast Poets Society, the founder of the Fort Bend Poets Group and the Fort Bend County Poet Laureate Competition. Terry is a retired professor of eMarketing and held an Innovation Fellowship at Kaplan University.
