Fort Bend County’s largest Pumpkin Patch returns October 12 with thousands of pumpkins available at the 6th Annual Holy Cross Episcopal Church Pumpkin Patch. The patch will be open Friday through Sunday for 3 weekends. Fort Bend families can again use the patch as the perfect backdrop for Fall family photos while they choose the biggest and freshest pumpkins, ornamental gourds, and Indian corn available to purchase for their holiday decorating.
This growing Fort Bend family tradition will include activities for everyone including live entertainment by local musical groups and dance schools, face painting, Texas barbeque, popcorn, snow cones, and home-made baked goods for sale. Additions this year include a Fall Market of hand-made gifts October 20 & 21, and a Silent Auction on Saturday, the 20th. The Blessing of the Animals will be held on Sunday, October 21 at 5:30 pm to benefit the Sugar Land Animal Shelter.
The church is located at 5653 West River Park Drive at the Grand Parkway (99). For more information, visit www.holycrosschurch.com or call 281-633-2000.
