Has anyone looked familiar on recent episodes of American Idol?
Maybe someone singing in Galveston and advancing to the next round of competition in California?
Then maybe you know Foster High School student Arielle Degueure.
The Richmond resident has been featured in a few snippets of the program as it airs footage from the early audition process. She originally auditioned in August with a cast of thousands in Houston.
From there, she was one of only about 250 that were asked to audition again in Galveston. And then came the big moment, when she was among the less than 50 performers who were asked to audition for Stephen, JLo and Randy.
And then came the even bigger moment of getting the ticket to Hollywood.
So what happens next? The Degueures aren’t saying. The show did send a team to Foster in the fall to shoot footage of Arielle around the school, but they are contractually bound as to what they are allowed to say. Or more accurately, what they CANNOT say.
So in other words, “Stay tuned.”
An interview with Arielle is posted on the American Idol website: http://www.americanidol.com/videos/season_11/road_to_hollywood/arielle_degueure/
