Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers, Inc. is willing to pay cash for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the last two burglary suspects being sought in the Mission Bend ring.
Sheriff’s spokesman Bob Haenel said, “On Monday, April 8, 2013, Sheriff’s deputies arrested Johnny Rodgers, 20, on warrants from both Fort Bend and Harris counties. Alex Bello, 18, was arrested the following Wednesday morning at his home in the 16200 block of Barbarrossa Drive in Mission Bend. The third ring member arrested on Wednesday was Ricardo Flores. He is 18 years old and was arrested when he was spotted by a deputy at a gas station at the corner of Beechnut and FM 1464/Clodine Road Wednesday evening.
Based on information from the Sheriff’s Office these five teens are tied to as many as 11 burglary cases in Fort Bend and Harris counties in the Mission Bend neighborhoods. Interestingly, according to Haenel, they used the private message feature on Facebook to make burglary plans and to seek buyers for their stolen goods. Haenel listed some of the stolen items as, “electronics, computer screens, a PlayStation, an X-Box, Nintendos, cameras, collectible items such as coins and playing cards, Cornwell precision tools, other types of tools, power saws and jewelry.” He explained that what property that has been recovered, has been returned to the rightful owners.
