A fundraiser benefiting a victim of a traffic accident has been set for Friday, April 20. Kacee Pavelka, 23, is a Richmond-area resident and the daughter of Lt. Roger and Deputy Kathy Pavelka of the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. On Dec. 15, 2011, Kacee lost an arm in a traffic accident in Rosenberg. The fundraiser will raise funds to address costs that are not covered by insurance.
Kacee is a Terry High School graduate and is attending the University of Houston.
The fundraiser will feature a chopped beef sandwich, beans and potatoes with all the fixings. Each plate is $10. This will be a drive-through event only and it will be held in the parking lot of the Gus George Law Enforcement Academy, located at 1521 Eugene Heimann Circle in Richmond (across for the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office).
Major sponsors for the event are Ray Briers with T&R Pipeline Services, Kovasovic’s Meat Market in Rosenberg, the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit and the Roughriders Cookoff Team.
The fundraiser will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, April 20. No pre-event tickets will be sold. All participants will pay as they go through the line.
