Blessed Be, Hope for Three, a non-profit that focuses on raising community awareness and providing educational and financial support to families with children diagnosed with autism and related disorders, is pleased to have been chosen as one of four charitable organizations that will benefit from the 2012 Golf for Greater Houston (GFGH) tournament. The event will be held on March 26 at the Sweetwater Country Club in Sugar Land.
“Hope for Three’s mission of providing hope to families affected by autism, through education and financial assistance matches GFGH’s goal of driving change and improving quality of life in the Greater Houston area through education and community outreach.” – John Schanck, GFGH 2012 Steering Committee Chairman
Formerly known as Golf for Fort Bend, GFGH is organized by employees of Fluor Corporation. Since the tournament’s inception in 2008, it has given more than $340,000 to the local community. Other charities that will benefit from the 2012 event are the ARC of Fort Bend, Casa de Esperanza, and The Children’s Assessment Center.
“As employees of Fluor, we strive to make a sustainable impact where we live and work through community engagement, employee volunteerism and philanthropic initiatives … As this event continues to grow, through the help of the event sponsors and Fluor employees, we can feel confident that we are making a lasting impression on the Greater Houston area. Hope for Three is certainly a worthy charitable organization to receive a portion of the funds realized from GFGH 2012.” – John Dempsey, Fluor Senior Vice President and GFGH 2012 Executive Committee
