Heritage Baptist Church offers Vacation Bible School

The staff and congregation of Heritage Baptist Church are working together to prepare a free, fun and meaningful event that will allow the children of Missouri City and surrounding communities who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade, to hear the gospel of Christ and celebrate his love for us.

Vacation Bible School will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, July 11 through Friday, July 15 at 2223 FM 1092, Missouri City.

The week’s activities will include crafts, snacks, story time and music as we explore the year’s theme: “Submerged.” We will invite children to dive past the surface and go deeper into God’s word to find His truth.

“We are all excited any time that we can share the gospel of Christ with God’s children and hope that the community will join us for a celebration of God’s word,” said Pastor Ed Byrnes.

The event is FREE and open to the public and the church is prepared for at least 150 children of the community who have completed K-5 th grade.

We welcome you and your family to join us not only for this event, but please be our guest for any Sunday morning worship service, Wednesday evening study or one of our special ministries, such as Divorce Care, Divorce Care for Kids, Grief Share, AWANA or AWANA Remix, a class specially designed to meet the needs of today’s teenagers and help them face the challenges and temptations of living in today’s world.
