Images of burglary suspects caught on home surveillance video

Sugar Land police are searching for three men seen on surveillance video breaking into a home in the 13800 block of Abbey Lane on May 24 just before 2 p.m.

The homeowner said he left for work at 8 a.m. and found his front door open and damaged when he returned at 5 p.m.

A review of cameras outside the man’s home showed a black sedan, possibly a Nissan Altima or Honda Accord, drive by the house before a black man ran up the driveway and into the backyard.

He was in his 20s with a medium build and was wearing a white hoodie with dark sleeves, white pants, white shoes and blue underwear.

A black sedan then backed up and parked next to the driveway. The man in the backyard returned to the side of the house and kicked in a door.

Two men exited the parked car, and all three entered the house.

The passenger was a short black man in his 20s with a medium build and long dreadlock hair.

He was wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and athletic shoes. The man in the back seat had a slender build with short hair.

He was wearing a black short-sleeve shirt, black shorts and dark shoes.

After entering the home, all three men immediately ran back out, jumped in the car and drove away.

It’s believed an alarm system was activated when the men entered the house.

Anyone with information should call the Sugar Land Police Department at 281-275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477).
