Fort Bend County Libraries’ Adult Services staff at Sugar Land Branch Library, 550 Eldridge, will present a variety of free, introductory technology classes this month on basic computer use and on Microsoft Word. The classes will consist of a hands-on introduction to basic skills for people who would like to learn more about using these tools.
The “Computers 101” class will take place on Thursday, April 11, beginning at 10:15 am, in the Tech Center. This class presents a basic introduction to using a computer and a mouse. The class will be repeated on Saturday, April 20, beginning at 10:15 am, in the same place.
The “MS Word Survival Basics” class will take place on Thursday, April 18, beginning at 10:15 am, in the Tech Center. This class presents a basic introduction to using this word-processing software program.
The classes are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, and reservations are required.
