Juvenile car burglars busted in Ashford

October 26, 2011 by FortBendStar

By LeaAnne Klentzman

Responding to a suspicious persons call, Sugar Land police nabbed a couple of car burglars.

Early Saturday morning, about 4:30 a.m., Sugar Land police officers responded to the 11400 Block of Ashford Haven after a call about two suspicious white males lingering around and looking into cars. When officers arrived in the area they found two males sitting in a car near the intersection of Ashford Wind and Ashford Green. During the ensuing interview the two were detained. Ultimately, after property discovered inside their vehicle was linked to other car burglaries, the two were taken into custody.

Both subjects were juveniles from the city of Sugar Land and both were taken to Fort Bend County Juvenile Detention. They are facing at least one charge of Burglary of Motor Vehicle.
