Students with the Kempner High School Marching Band recently held a food drive to benefit people in the Sugar Land community. Their determination and hard work paid off as the group raised over 1500 canned goods, with the symphonic ensemble raising over 650 cans alone! All the cans were donated to Sugar Land United Methodist Church food pantry and benefit those in need in our area. Students and staff alike are very proud to have the opportunity to give back to one of our local community organizations and to the community as a whole! Way to go Cougars!!
