Kristen Lynn Howe and Adam Jay Canow were united in marriage on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at three o’clock in the afternoon at St. Anne Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Jay Walsh of St. Anne Catholic Church. Music for the ceremony was provided by Divisi Strings and vocalist Ms. Cay Taylor, accompanied on the organ by Mr. Matthew McCue. The bride wore a couture gown designed by Paloma Blanca. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception in The Crystal Ballroom at The Rice with entertainment provided by The Spazmatics of Austin, Texas. On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at El Real Restaurant.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Howe of Missouri City, Texas. The groom is the son of Mrs. Sharon Clark of Ames, Iowa and stepson of Mr. Timothy Clark of Boone, Iowa.
Kristie is a 2000 graduate of Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas. She graduated from Ohio University in 2004 and was a member of the varsity softball team. She is currently employed as a web developer for Houston Methodist Hospitals. Adam is a 2000 graduate of Ames High School in Ames, Iowa and served in the U.S. Air Force in 2003-2007. He graduated from the University of Houston in 2012. He is owner of an internet marketing business in Houston, Texas.
Following their honeymoon to Germany and France, the couple will reside in Houston, Texas.
