Kuk Sool WonTM is a systematic study of all of the traditional martial arts, which together comprise the Martial Arts history of Korea. As such, Kuk Sool WonTM is extremely well organized and seeks to integrate and explore all aspects of the traditional Korean martial arts.
Kuk Sa Nim In Hyuk is the founder, Grandmaster and President of the World Kuk Sool AssociationTM. He has studied martial arts for more than 50 years, receiving his first instruction from his grandfather, Myung Deuk Suh, a master-instructor of the Korean Royal Court. Kuk Sa Nim has traveled throughout the far East seeking out and studying additional aspects of the martial arts. Kuk Sa Nim will be present for their grand opening.
Kuk Sool WonTM will hold a grand opening ceremony Saturday, July 16, at 10:50 a.m., at their school located at 1125 Crabb River Rd., Richmond. The public is invited to this event. In addition, demonstrations will be held by several Kuk Sool WonTM. The Richmond demonstration will be held at 11 a.m. with other demonstrations to follow.
Kuk Sool WonTM of Richmond’s goal is to provide not only an excellent facility for Martial Art Training, but an opportunity through Traditional Martial Art Training to develop and retain character, integrity, modesty, humility, courage and fitness of mind, body and spirit.
