If you haven’t had an opportunity to discover all the resources that are available at the library, now is your chance. The staff of the Sienna Branch Library will have a basic introduction to the library, its online catalog, and all the resources that become available with a library card. The program, “Get It for Free at the Library,” will take place on Wednesday, June 6, beginning at 10:00 am, in the Computer Lab at the library, located at 8411 Sienna Springs Blvd. in Missouri City.
In this class, learn how to get a library card, access free magazine subscriptions, research using the library’s online services, obtain information about upcoming events, book a meeting room, register for free computer classes, and much more. Those attending will also learn how to take full advantage of the many online services available on the library’s website, including downloading eBooks.
The program is free and open to the public. Reservations are encouraged, but not required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “calendar,” select “Sienna Branch Library,” and find the program.
