Do you have a new Kindle, Sony Nook®, or other type of eReader, but you’re not sure how to use it? Fort Bend County Libraries will present an introductory program on downloading eBooks to eReaders on Monday, June 10, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, at the Missouri City Branch Library, located at 1530 Texas Parkway. The program will be repeated on Monday, June 17, at the same time and place.
In this eReader workshop, learn how to browse, select, and download eBooks and audiobooks to your mobile device from the library’s online digital library collection, OverDrive. The library’s free online audiobooks and eBooks can be downloaded to mobile devices such as Kindles, Nooks, smartphones, iPads®, or mp3 players. It is necessary to have a Fort Bend County library card to check out eBooks from the library.
The program is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required. For more information, call the branch library at 281-238-2100.
