The Adult Services staff at Fort Bend University Branch Library will present “Needle Crafting: One Needle, or Two?” on Monday, August 19, beginning at 7:00 pm, in the Small Meeting Room of the library, located at 14010 University Blvd in Sugar Land, on the UH campus.
Learn about the crafts of knitting, crocheting, and cross-stitching. Bring a sewing project and share experiences with others who are thinking about taking up a new stitching hobby. People of all ages and experience levels – from beginners to advanced – who enjoy sewing, knitting, crocheting or other needlework are invited to attend. Samples of the library’s instructional books, crafting magazines, and websites on the various sewing arts will be available.
The program is free and open to the public. For more information, call the branch library at 281-238-2140 or the library’s Public Information Office at 281-341-2677.
